REFLECT UPON THIS...

-Theodore Roosevelt, 1917

"It is not possible to be in favor of justice for some people and not be in favor of justice for all people."
-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Isaona i tumungo’ ya ha sedi, ki ayo i mismo umisagui hao.
Greater is the fault of he who allows the injustice upon himself. "
-

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP!

You can help the legal, long-term nonresident workers of the CNMI. Ask members of Congress to:

• Grant an unobstructed pathway to U.S. citizenship through permanent residency to all of the CNMI's nonresident workers who had been working lawfully and legally in the CNMI for at least five years;

• Grant a pathway to citizenship for the immediate relatives of the guest workers who acquire U.S citizenship;

• Provide reparations for the thousands of cheated foreign workers who have been victims of routine wage theft and other labor and human rights abuses;

• Demand that the appropriate U.S. law enforcement officials prosecute all employers who engage in the routine practice of wage theft and other labor and human rights abuses;

• Properly fund and staff the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State, and Labor in the CNMI to ensure the safety and human rights of guest workers and the community.

Please be a voice for the voiceless guest workers!

Please contact key members of Congress, members of the House Natural Resources Committee, members of the House Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife, Oceans and Insular Affairs, and members of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Ask them to enact legislation to grant the disenfranchised guest workers basic human and civil rights and permanent residency status
